SFC Jose Soto

Sergeant First Class, U.S. Army

SFC Soto was born and raised in Arlington Texas. First born son of immigrant parents, Luis and Maria Soto. Shortly after graduating from college he joined the Army to get help in paying his student loans. Originally planned on doing a short three year contract and now has served for over 10 years. He has traveled across the world and been to many countries to include Germany ??, South Korea ?? and Afghanistan ?? to name a few. He never planned on being a recruiter for the Army but once he became one he found satisfaction in helping young adults achieve their goals in life with help from the Army.

For the past 2 1/2 years Soto has served as an ambassador for the United States Army and has been able to help numerous young Americans start their future with the United States Army and Army Reserve and hopes to help many more until his time is up as a recruiter here in the great city of Waco.
