The Cen-Tex Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization that was established in 1975 by a group of Hispanic entrepreneurs who saw the advantage in joining together to promote their mutual interests.  Since its establishment, the Chamber has been a leading voice of the Hispanic Community in Waco and Central Texas.

As the Hispanic population continues to increase rapidly, so does the number and diversity of professionals and business owners of Hispanic descent.  The Cen- Tex Hispanic Chamber is governed by a board of directors comprised of Hispanic community leaders and other professionals in the community who recognize the increasing cultural diversity.  Chamber members and volunteers join with the community to successfully promote the business, economic, educational, and social development of the Hispanic community in Waco and Central Texas.
